2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner; the servers are located in Germany or the EU. When you visit the site, the server automatically processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. Log files are only stored for as long as necessary for secure operation and are then deleted.

3. No cookies, no tracking

On the public pages we do not set any cookies and do not use any analytics or tracking tools. Fonts and icons are loaded locally from our own server; no data is transferred to third parties.

4. Contact form

When you write to us via the contact form, we store your details (name, email address, topic, company if applicable, message) in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or contract performance) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (answering general enquiries). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Spam protection (flower puzzle)

To keep automated spam away, the contact form contains a small puzzle (turn the book the right way up, or type the digits read aloud). We developed it ourselves and it runs entirely on our own server: no cookies are set, no data is transferred to third parties (such as Google) and no profiles are created. Only the random solution of the puzzle is stored – without any reference to you – for a maximum of 20 minutes. In addition, we briefly limit the number of requests per IP address to prevent abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (protection against abuse).

6. Links to the shop and Amazon

Our site contains links to the online shop at susannetaddey.com and to Amazon. Only when you click such a link are you taken to the respective provider’s site, where their privacy policy applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Just write to us at hallo@freundesblume.de.
